What Are Failures Of Stomach

international monopolies

action
want monopolies and enforced disappearance of protest.
C Lévano Esar , the Peruvian media giant, with honesty and courage that are inherent in his newspaper column FIRST from 18 of the current month has complaint do the circles of the U.S. ruling classes. States, especially through his Army Southern Command, prepares to interfere in the elections of June 5, to defend the neoliberal theory and the dependency system and "where necessary seek to vacate the presidency of the republic up to suggest a possible Peru invasion. By Chile "writes Cesar Lévano verbatim.

This is a serious matter constant in the political actions of U.S. imperialism, despite its decline in recent years, as evidenced by the macro indicators of the economy and place it as the country with external and internal debt of the world's largest.

What is afoot now to intervene openly in the internal politics is not new but has been practiced in recent times. Here are the facts:

On December 14, 1972, Salvador Allende, the legitimate President of Chile elected by the majority of the people, delivered a memorable speech to the 27th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York. Salvador Allende said: "We are witnessing a war of position between large transnational monopolies and sovereign states whose fundamental political, economic and military involving transnational monopolies." (General Assembly official records, 27 20096 The Planary Meeting session. Pag 5 )

He added: "ITT, monopoly capital which is greater than the sum of the national budget, even higher than some industrialized countries, launched a disastrous plan" (Idem, pag4.)

This ill-fated plan American ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation) eventually led, 10 months after this Allende's speech to his assassination and the collapse of the democratic government of Chile , the slaughter of 10,000 patriots and the establishment of fascist terror of Pinochet.

On December 4, 1972 Allende added:

"Not only facing an economic bloc, but we are also victims of blatant aggression. Two monopolies belonging to the core strength of the big multinationals, International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation and Kennecott, introducing its tentacles deep into my country has proposed to manage our political life "(Ibid, pag4)

criminal role played in Chile by ITT and Copper American pools were not and are the only examples of violence, interference, disregard for the sovereignty and similar practices which serve the multinationals. The most recent examples of ruthless interference with the sovereign rights of free states is the consummate aggression against Grenada and against Nicaragua.

Therefore, an urgent task of our time is to overcome the underdevelopment caused by the dependence of our countries to the developed cities in large parts of the world population . But now as before, the exploitation of developing countries is a major source of profits for the monopolists associations 11.000 their branches and subsidiaries 92.000.

Among the hunt for profits by international monopolies and the economic objectives of developing countries there is an insoluble contradiction. Transnational monopolies impede economic progress and social and therefore political in developing countries. All talk of these companies also have technology, science and advanced technology as well as jobs to developing countries is pure hypocrisy.

transnational monopolies are groups controlled monopoly capital from one country to influence the international level, or acting beyond the boundaries their country of origin. Unlike that one also speaks of "multinational monopolies." In this case it is described capitalist corporations controlled by capital from various countries. To affected developing countries is of secondary importance if they are robbed by capitalist societies led by one or more imperialist states. For them it is crucial that exploits them wantonly.

11.000 In total the largest international monopolies held subsidiaries in more than 100 countries. 21.000 Research in consortia subsidiaries and branches operating in developing countries shows the following picture of their place of origin: 31% from U.S., 27% of Great Britain, France 7% , 6% of the Federal Republic of Germany, Japan 6% and 4% in the Netherlands. The rest is distributed among consortia of capitalist countries like Canada , Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Sweden and Australia.

47% of its branches are in Latin America, Asia 32% and 21% in Africa.

The lucrative export of capital is a broad field of predatory practices of transnational corporations. But in this case can not speak more than exports, because monopoly profits are larger transnational that all their investments.

Those who argue that any changes made on behalf of our country and its people frighten foreign investment conceal reality, it would be naive to believe that when the cost to extract an ounce of gold is 110 U.S. dollars and price international 1,400.00 U.S. dollars is , foreign capital will give such a high rate of return.
