This ill-fated plan American ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation) eventually led, 10 months after this Allende's speech to his assassination and the collapse of the democratic government of Chile , the slaughter of 10,000 patriots and the establishment of fascist terror of Pinochet.
On December 4, 1972 Allende added:
"Not only facing an economic bloc, but we are also victims of blatant aggression. Two monopolies belonging to the core strength of the big multinationals, International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation and Kennecott, introducing its tentacles deep into my country has proposed to manage our political life "(Ibid, pag4)
criminal role played in Chile by ITT and Copper American pools were not and are the only examples of violence, interference, disregard for the sovereignty and similar practices which serve the multinationals. The most recent examples of ruthless interference with the sovereign rights of free states is the consummate aggression against Grenada and against Nicaragua.
Therefore, an urgent task of our time is to overcome the underdevelopment caused by the dependence of our countries to the developed cities in large parts of the world population . But now as before, the exploitation of developing countries is a major source of profits for the monopolists associations 11.000 their branches and subsidiaries 92.000.
Among the hunt for profits by international monopolies and the economic objectives of developing countries there is an insoluble contradiction. Transnational monopolies impede economic progress and social and therefore political in developing countries. All talk of these companies also have technology, science and advanced technology as well as jobs to developing countries is pure hypocrisy.

The lucrative export of capital is a broad field of predatory practices of transnational corporations. But in this case can not speak more than exports, because monopoly profits are larger transnational that all their investments.
